Making crochet Christmas wreaths isn’t your thing? Is a beautiful Christmas decoration usually expensive and lacking in charm? And is buying them in a store a waste of time and money?
See what it’s like the simplest way create a Christmas decoration. Anyone can dress this way, and there are so many options that you certainly won’t run out of imagination. You can find all the tools you need at home or in your garden.

It would be better glass vase. It must be transparent: this is the main requirement. The glass can be thin or thick, frosted or colored: it doesn’t matter, use what you find at home. Suitable for straight cylindrical foam pots, expandable, aquarium type, square.
It is more convenient if the height of the pot is not higher than your height. The decoration looks best on the table, so it would be nice if you could see it from all sides. If the vase is too tall, you won’t be able to see the view from above.
Even a vase over a foot tall might not work if you don’t have a tall candle – and we’ll need one too.
Instead of a vase, this would also work wide cup (the higher the leg, the chicer it will look). We were lucky because we photographed and filmed in Asta’s studio (here are its beauties), so he lent me a large stem glass that fit perfectly.
You can also use a simple one vase – so that it doesn’t look so domestic, you can wrap its upper part several times with a ribbon, woolen thread or linen twine.
PLACE THE CANDLE IN THE CONTAINER.
The candle should be the same height as the glass container. If you want to light the candle later, you can also choose a taller candle – it will burn safely for longer and you won’t have to worry about your decorations catching fire.
If you intend to place the candle only as decoration, let it be lower than the container. Then you will load more decorations and the candle will hide comfortably in the depth of the container.
If you don’t have a candleyou can skip this step entirely: the decoration will look beautiful even without a candle.
If you want to use the decoration instead of the Advent wreath, choose a much larger container, or put four candles in it. Every Sunday in the run-up to Christmas you will light an extra candle.
FILL THE BLANK SPACES WITH ORNAMENTS.
That’s all for the job: take your decorations and fill the container so that the candle is in the center and the decorations around it.
Some decoration ideas from kitchen treasures: Walnuts, cloves, cinnamon sticks, orange slices (dried or freshly cut), tangerines, dried apples, molded dough (plain or colored).
Some ideas from the backyard or farm: snow berries, sea buckthorn, quince, chokeberry, paradise apples, thistles, various pine cones, birch bark, moss, cut twigs (sticks several centimeters long), coniferous sprigs.
And, of course, use old Christmas toys, already bored tinsel, gift ribbon. Same thing, new role. You won’t even need to buy anything anymore, here the details of the old Christmas decorations will look completely new.
Stack the decorations in the vase so that they look beautiful from both the side and top. Decorations can protrude above the vase, they can lean to the sides, do not be afraid to experiment.
If you light the candle later, try not to place the decorations on top of the candle, but only on the sides around it.
ANTI-RESISTANT AND ECOLOGICAL CHRISTMAS DECORATION
Well, no extra work, you put the candle in the vase and filled the empty spaces with decorations. There was no need for special tools and equipment, there was no need for hot glue, oases, special threads for tying, there was no need to buy new things that would then have to be thrown away. The work is simple, it can’t even be called work.
You can’t go wrong by calling decorating organic if you haven’t wasted money and used things you’ve already found around the house.
